David Okpara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Imo state University Owerri -2005; Proficiency Certificate in Management from Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM)- 2007; Associate Member of Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) 2009, Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) from Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN)- 2009; Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) from Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA)- 2011, World bank trained Business Development Service Providers (BDSP) – 2017, Associate member of Chartered Institute of Taxation(ACTI) 2018 and Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) from Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN)- 2022

David has worked in several reputable companies in Nigeria; He is currently the Managing Partner/CEO at Watertight Consulting Ltd, Okpara David & Co (Chartered Accountants) and Blocktight Consults. He is a co-founder of Whitetouch Diagnostic Centre and Peakminds Schools.

David is a business development service expert with over 15 years’ experience in Finance, Taxation, Book Keeping and Accounting Services, Auditing, Human Resources. David has consulted for companies in different sectors ranging from Telecommunication, Oil and Gas, Hospitality, Healthcare, Real estate, Farming, Waste Management Companies. etc . His roles for companies in these sectors include; setting up of account departments, Finance and accounting processes, Business process re-engineering Auditing and Financial Analysis, Personnel selection and recruitment, Accounting Software installation and configurations and many others. David is a world bank trained Business Development Service Providers (BDSP)
